Question What was the toughest bracket ever in Illinois?

The mention of AO down at 145 making potentially the toughest CCL bracket ever got me wondering.

What was the toughest bracket ever in Illinois?
Toughest conference bracket?
Toughest Dvorak bracket?
Toughest Whitlach bracket?
Toughest state bracket?
Toughest sectional bracket?
Toughest regional bracket?
Others?

In recent history the 2014 3A 113 state bracket was touted by Flo as being the best hs state tournament in the country that year. With more than a handful of guys that made the national rankings at some point in their careers and having it be the only hs state tourney entered by Yates and Gomez that they didn't win it was pretty tough.

Brian Rossi 1st
Miguel Silva 2nd
Austin Gomez 3rd
Rudy Yates 4th
Alex Madrigal 5th
Nick Koch 6th
Travis Piotrowski DNP
Anthony Bosco DNP
Nick Luchanich DNP
Jake Silzer DNP
Andrew McFall DNP
Jimmy Gallardo DNP
Collin Kenyon DNP
Kyle Peisker DNP
Anthony Munuz DNP
Kenneth Minor DNP

Regionals

135 at Lockport in 2011. 1) Kyle Langenderfer(LWE) 2) Colin Holler(CS) 3) Mike Togher(PC) I have been watching HS wrestling since 1997. This was the only time that The 3 from regional, took the top 3 spots in state. 1) Togher 2) Langenderfer 3) Holler. Jim Spangler(JW), knew that he would never get through this regional. He bumped to 140 and placed in state.

1992 class A #119

Maybe not the toughest ever in terms of elite, next level skill, but the hardware of this group would be hard to beat.

...............................................1993.............1994............ 1995
1992 119-lb weight class
1st Trevor Elliot(sr)......
2nd Jesse Kennedy(jr).......1st(125)
3rd Cory Daker(sr)
4th Kurt Hudson(jr)...........1st(135)
DNP Mike Greenfield(fr).....DNP(135)........1st(145)........1st(160)
DNP Andy Heilemeir(so).....3rd(135).........2nd(140)
DNP Brian Davis(so)..........DNP(130)........1st(140)
DNP Brian Anderson(jr)......2nd(125)

Combined record of top four that year was 144-4-1, with three of the four losses coming from each other.
Elliot won his third title that year, and had a third place finish losing to Mike Mena in the semi's when they both were freshman.
Daker had won titles the two previous years and had an 110-2 record for his last three years coming into the state finals.

Hudson finished third the previous year. The guy Hudson beat in the finals the next year was Stockwell from Riverdale, who was also a defending champion, and the only person Mike Mena didn't beat in high school, as they wrestled to a tie in a conference dual.

Over all the 1992 group had six state champions, and eight guys in the grand march.
The group as a whole had these place finishes:
1st-10
2nd-3
3rd- 4

Did they stay in that order through the state tournament or did they finish differently each week?
