Cadet National Duals thread

Looks like 26 teams are registered for the greco dual tournament.

Team Illinois was 4th in greco last year and DNP in freestyle. Look for better results in both tournaments this year. Especially in freestyle. Top 8 would be nice, but top 4 should not be out of the question...

Trackwrestling for tournament coverage.

Cadet Greco team looks very solid. If they wrestle well, they should compete with anyone.

Big weekend for Illinois and our Cadets...

Wondering???

Looks like some of the weights have some deep back-ups in it or should I say kids that didn't place or place Top 4 at F/S or GR State.

Anybody got the answers to that.......

I know a few high placers at some of these weights that were not even asked/invited to practice/try-out.

They way it's looking... Team Illinois should smoke Iowa in round three. Then the pool will be decided between Illinois, New Jersey(who has one loss to CA.) and California. New Jerseys score over Colorado was very close to the same score as Illinois over Colorado. And California just barely won over New Jersey. Illinois could win the pool just as easy as they could finish 3rd in the pool. It's going to be an exciting final two rounds...

If they wrestle well, they should make the championship bracket.
