Both are awesome, but MN can get pretty interesting. It goes from Wednesday to Saturday with both the individual and dual team tournaments being competed. Its not unusual for a kid to win a state championship then lose in a dual meet the following round. I dont know if I would enjoy it as a wrestler, but plenty of drama for the fans.

Interesting. That would make the coaching strategy a little different too. You don't get the extra time to cut a wrestler's weight in order to adjust dual match-ups.

ok so back to the thread, lol, no one thinks terrazas is going to win? after the way he wrestled monaco, which was just constant action and attack, i might give him an edge in the finals battle, he just knows how to turn it on and keep it close in those matches that matter

I think you are right about Terrazas. He is getting overlooked in this discussion. I have seen both of his matches with Monaco. In each match the guy trailing made a move in the final seconds to get the win. I wonder if the guy who was leading made a mistake by just trying to hold on or was it just a case of great hustle to pull it out?

I think we have a couple more matches left to enjoy between these two. I know many are picking 119 as the top weight class but my vote goes to the 140 pound meatgrinder.

Its not like he controlled the match the whole time. I mean he got the takedown with like 2 seconds to go. Now im not taking anything away from him because that is a huge win, but I dont think Monaco is the best 140lber out there, what im saying is Terrazas is gonna have to wrestle much better than a takedown at the end of the match to win 140 this year. This is all just my opinion.. the good thing is that in 2 weeks all our questions and opinions will be answered!!

I'm predicting the "Funky Farmer" to take it all at 140bs.
