My sons team stayed there last year.. OMG what a dump... but i guess if it is only one night. I know people don't need to stay at the Ritz Carlton this weekend but that place was bad.... Hopefully its better for you this year!

OMG! The Days Inn in Rantoul is a DUMP!! The pool is freezing; the place is very noisy ~ hopefully you're not planning on getting any sleep! The staff could care less about what happens there, they take your money and you are stuck. Good luck!

I walked in to drop something off for my kid, and the girl behind the counter was pregnant, looked like she was on something and smoking a cigarette.. looked like she was 16. it was dark, it smelled and I felt like I was in a scene form a horror film... I ran out of there!!!! YIKES I would definately try to find something else. There are some posts from people who have rooms available, check them out... I also made sure my son emptied his belongings out before he brought them in the house... never know what crawled in them.... ewwww!

I stayed there last winter in snow storm and got stranded on the way home so I had to spend the night there. It was dirty smelled bad and was noisier than any hotel I have ever stayed at. Dont get me wrong I have stayed at other Days Inns and it was fine but this one doesnt qualify for a rematch from me lol.

I would get a new hotel! I would drive to Bloomington before I would ever stay at that dump again! You have a PM.
