Do you really think these clubs that charge $500-$1000 or more are non profit organizations?!

With all of these whacked out parents out there willing to spend whatever it takes to make Junior a winner, wrestling is big business, some IKWF clubs included.

Speaking of which, since the coach is being paid I'm sure the club fees have to account for this, as well as new singlets, mats, supplies, equip, etc... so what will it cost to wrestle for this club during its initial season?

I wouldn't get too worked up about the pay, were not talking millions people...unless you work for a school anyway as teacher, coaching is not a high paying endeavor...my friend was an assistant and it didn't pay for post practice beer...

High school coaches are way underpaid for the amount of time that they put in with coaching...especially in a sport like wrestling where many of the kids wrestle all year round!! There are IKWF clubs out there that are paying a coach and not charging an arm and a leg to wrestle in the club! I would think that one charging $1000 would have to have a pretty large working balance in their books!
