Mr. White is right. Go back and read what I wrote. I am sure you understand what I meant, but some would rather play word games.

Ace, you are usually pretty level-headed. You are reading too much into what I said. I said I was not judging anyone, and I said that individual circumstances are sometimes unique. I also did not say anything about anyone who chooses to go to a private school beginning in their freshman. I completely appreciate why a parent would send their kids to a private school, especially in this day. You can choose to hear what I was trying to say, or you can just pick out words and bat them around. I really don't care.

Hey if you dont want people to attack your comments or interpret your words, then make it more clear. It is what you didnt type is what makes that statement apparent, you were pointing out hometown kids and that was it. I kind of understand what you were saying, but i dont completely agree with you. So if you dont like how i react then i dont really care!

Isn't that how lawyers earn their living?

Name any kid that got injured and could no longer wrestle. Many of those don't work out either. However, those that have the grades and the academic motivation land on their feet far more often than those whose sole motivation is wrestling. I have a clue and a law degree because of that. How about you?
I agree on these points...

We go to other schools and see their huge field houses with great indoor tracks and our kids have to run in the hallways during indoor. Then after using tax dollars to pay for all this as well as higher paid coaches, more coaches and bigger budgets, what do many of these people do? They complain about what we do in our wrestling program is what they do. And as far as the schools administration they spend all the money and then every few years they try to hold the poor taxpayer hostage via referendum to increase the taxes we pay. If the referendums do not pass they threaten to shut down all athletic activities. And you want to call the kid who wrestles for his home school a hero? Ill tell you my hero is not just the young men who are risking their lives across this globes so we can all have freedom of choice etc, but I will call my dad or any other parent who is willing to commit the money to send their kids to a private school because they think it is the best thing for his/her child. I guess my dad could have bought the bass boat or summer home with the money he has sent to Montini over the last few decades but I guarantee you he wouldnt change a thing and theres hundreds of kids who have come through here who's parents made similar sacrifices who would concur.
This is so true. Well said Cub84...now explain the new avitar...pmail

If all lawyers did was "bat words around," they would be doing the world a disservice. I also didn't realize anyone was on trial here. Should I call you counsellor?

We lawyers do a whole lot more than "bat words around" to earn a living. You might even be surprised by what we do if you actually took the time to find out. However, if you want to "bat words around" you may find that lawyers are trained to argue and generally do it better than those in other professions. We also don't judge others by what they do for a living or insult their professions.
