question about fargo??

right now the points go
sam white 28
ramos 25
lavalle 28

white has a bye this round so he cant score points

if ramos techs lavelle he will win the pool? because even if he techs him and lavelle scores a point they each have 29 but tony won heads up?

im not sure if that is how it would work does anyone know for sure if that is what would happen?

It goes by overall win/loss records first.
Then head to head
Then round robin points
Then overall points in the bracket.

Meaning if white loses again AND ramos has scored more points in the round robin than him, tony will be in the finals.

yup. and if ramos techs and the other kid scores a point, then ramos takes 2nd in the pool. But ramos has to tech both periods to get points for teching.

there is still cross overs. Its the same format when you and i wrestled. And i just looked at the bracket, lavelle didnt score any points on white. so right now he has 0 points and ramos has 1 for scoring a point on white. All ramos has to do to get 2nd in the pool and go for 3rd is beat lavelle.

If by crossover you mean the second place kid in pool A wrestles 1st place kid in pool B and and 1st place kid pool A wrestles 2nd place kid in B to see who will be in the finals??? If that is what you mean then NO they dont do that at Fargo, they never did due to time constantes but I believe they do at the kid level like Northern plains.

Since Tony took second in his pool he will wrestle for 3rd.

Yup

You are correct MAMAsan! All the Plains/regionals still crossover. Unfortumately in Fargo no crossovers, but some pools over 50 kids you're gonna bump into some Hammers even if you get a "nice" pool.

I thought I read that you are suppose to be in Cancun or somewhere tropical now. Please tell that you are not checking in on Matmen while on vacation.
