basketball vs wrestling...

so at our school Basketball gets way more respect than wrestling...because when there is an away game for basketball they take a fan bus but when we have a home meet they dont even announce it on the intercoms...and regionals this weekend and they dont even say good luck...
i think its bs.

Did anyone bother to tell whoever does the announcements? As for the fan bus, show a need, show that it will fill up, and it might happen. Booster clubs rarely turn down an opportunity to make money.

Make sure you get the announcements to the right people. At our school all sports get equal representation in the announcements.

Ya i think its the stupidest thing ever. Our basketball team is 6-11 and 2-5 in conference or something like that they are bad but still have people going to the games. I think basketball is one of the worst sports and like nothing about it. And for example they made free t-shirts for the basketball fans and gave them out at school i crossed out basketball and put wrestling instead.

Oh, so only winning teams deserve to be supported? I am assuming that your wrestling team is undefeated, correct?

That's the sort of childish reaction that generates lack of respect. Show some maturity and support your schoolmates at their chosen sport; you might find you get some support back. At the very least, don't knock those who do support them.
