I thought they would have 14 going to the Sectionals. That was a very weak regional.

the HWT bracket was competitive, but overall this was a very weak regional. There was not to much of a challange for the Montini wrestlers.

You need to finsih in the top 3 to advance. After the top three it drops off dramatically.

With the exception of HWT I totally agree. For some, sectionals is going to be tough. The HWT bracket is tough for sectionals. Possibly the toughest statewide. We shall see.

With that tough schedule that Montini wrestles and how tough they are, whats up with 145 Elliot Hudson inj.dft in the final against Josh Castellano from little old Fenton. Did Elliot have a tough go with 0-0 D.J. Wuanti in the semi. You enter a regional, wrestle. Wow thats impressive.

You are not impressed that Montini won 12 of 14 weights and completely dominated that regional. Sorry that Hudson was hurt, I don't think he is the only person to injury default out of a match. Ramos defaulted out of the Ironman last year so you must not be impressed by him either?

Props to a great team, but to be honest they aren't better themselves at all by staying in 2A. I know it wasn't totally their choice to stay, but each year they wrestling in tough tournaments like the Ironman and Dvorak and it does not help them to wrestle worse competition at the state tournament.
