OP-Min
Minooka had the momentum after 119. Zabel pinned at 112, and JRuettiger majored at 119. Score 16-8, Minooka. At 125, into the 3rd period, Bokowski wrestling beautifully against Chris Dardanes, up 4-3. All of a sudden, Dardanes acted like Popeye after eating his spinach. He was not to be denied. He eventually pushed through Bokowski's defense and took him down, and then to his back for a pin. This 9 pt swing, turned the match around. Then Nick Dardanes, pumped up by watching his brother, majored Montella. Oak Park took the lead for good.

They really ate our lunch in the lighter weights but the two wins by Benny and Matt were BIG. Chris Dardanes win was a big momentum shift, but Minooka got the favorable match-up at 135-140; If Coleman wrestles Rangel, and Minnis wrestles Kenney we might get a net of 9 points vs just 2. I really thought Dan Martin would get at least a major (if not more) at 145, but Sammy really delivered when we needed it.

125 changed the whole match. Thought it wouldve only been a decison by either one but the pin changed it. Congrats mckbln

Definitely didn't expect it to be a pin. Bokoski lost to Dardanes at state 6-3, if that takes place at team state changes the whole dual. Feel bad for Brian going out in his last match of highschool getting pinned. Everyone knows he is very tough wrestler etc..!!
