The team is chosen, but the first placers in freestyle and greco state are usually given first consideration. If you placed high and are interested, you should immediatley contact Mike Urwin. Go to the ilusaw.com website. The contact information is there. I believe the people responsible for the Junior freestyle and Junior greco dual meet teams is also there. They can usually take more than the number of weight classes so that they can give guys a break. Therefore, even if the first placer at your weight is going, they still might have room for another wrestler at the same weight. It is a great experience, and I would encourage everyone who is able to compete at that level to do it.
