i know the altons wrestled for PA, so my question is if illinois was to send the AAA state champs, would we still have gotten blown out like we did?

luke nelson got pinned in like 30 and malik taylor got teched. i mean....thats pretty much domination. but, again, they both faced an alton, whom would beat pretty much anyone we would put out there at that weight.

PA is great, but we had exactly 0 AAA state champs there. If we had our AAA state champs vs. that PA team, it would have been much closer Eddie Klimara, New Lenox (Providence Catholic)
112 lbs. Edwin Cooper, New Lenox (Providence Catholic)
119 lbs. Jameson Oster, Lockport (Twp.)
125 lbs. Tony Ramos, Carol Stream (Glenbard North)
130 lbs. Nick Dardanes, Oak Park (O.P.-River Forest)
135 lbs. Kevin Fanta, Lake Zurich
140 lbs. Matt Boggess, Mt. Prospect (Prospect)
145 lbs. Elias Larson, Chicago Heights (Marian)
152 lbs. Bobby Barnhisel, Oak Park (Fenwick)
160 lbs. Kyle Czarnecki, Buffalo Grove
171 lbs. Lee Munster, Fox Lake (Grant)
189 lbs. Mario Gonzalez, Aurora (West)
215 lbs. Zach Smith, Rockford (Boylan)
285 lbs. Curtis Blaydes, Chicago (De La Salle)

This was an UNDERCLASSMEN ONLY event. No Seniors allowed. Therefore, the Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors that did go did a GREAT JOB!!!
