Preseason top 5 teams

whose in your preseason top 5 regardless of class?

I dont have a top 5 yet, but my top 3 not in any order is Minooka, Montini & Providence.
My next group is Crystal Lake Central, Lockport, Mt. Carmel & Plainfield Central.
My third tier is Lyons Township,Nequa Valley & OPRF.
I dont know enough about Granite City & Edwardsville but I imagine whichever has the better team this year would be in the conversation, same with Harlem or Hononegah.

I think that you have tier 2 and tier 3 mixed up. I doubt that CLC, Lockport or Mt Carmel could beat OPRF or Neuqua Valley this year.

Well it won't matter after Dec. 17th because Mt Carmel will wrestle OPRF and then head to head will tell if they can beat them and visa versa. Speculation is one thing and actual matches answers questions.

So what your saying is you don't do rankings, but you do rankings for Intermat Pre-Season top Ten? Is this Green Lantern or Mr. Twister? I wasn't taking a shot at you I just would've thought you would break down the match up instead of responding that his opinion doesn't matter only the match matters. If we all responded that way there would be no forum discussions. Of course actual matches settle all debate. By the way I think the keys on your computer were stuck because you typed the same thing 25 times either that or you went bananas.

mr twister doesn't do the rankings. he's just proud of mt carmel and excited about their possibilities this year. he also is just stating that in december we will have a better idea of how the team rankings and lineups figure. i'm pretty sure ADMIN does the rankings. not positive on that though either

No doubt Twist, hes got got you there. You like to discuss other outcomes... can't shy away from the caravan and discourage speculation on their meets.

I'm just joking. I won't do another poll unless I start seeing excuse making about why an MC team loses to another good team and their ranking shouldnt suffer because they were missing a guy or a guy is not at the right weight yet,.....

Great TEAMS fill holes with solid backups and thats why they are considered great teams and not just 4 all state wrestlers and several ff and a couple guys the wrestling coach talked into coming out so the team can make state from a weak regional.

Thats why Provi,Montini and GBN are great teams. Yes they have 4 stars but they have 0 holes and a cast of wrestlers that step up and contribute when called upon. And for me thats a TEAM.
