Speaking of Judo....
Getting ready for the Tblisi Cup in Georgia and the Paris Grand Slam in France...
JMJC athletes at the winter training camp at the shidokan in Montreal which was run by 2x Olympic Medalist and Canadian Head National Coach, Nicolas Gill. At the end of the week there was a clinic put on by Olympic Champ & 3x World Champ Kosei Inoue (JPN) hosted by Judo Quebec. ![]()

Groan. Tough draw. Salva first match and if he wins he gets Alexanidis. At least Kehrgiani is on the other side of the bracket.

Tough loss...he just couldn't seem to get his grip and when he had the opportunity on that Osoto he couldn't score it.
http://www.judo.com.gr/en/#/videos/world-c...rdava-bolen-961 Unfortunately, first round losses eliminate you in this tournament (no follow the leader) and the guy he lost to won the tournament.

To get an idea how popular judo is in Europe, this photo isn't from the Olympics or even the World Championships. This is just an annual open tournament from Sofia, Bulgaria.
