My bad, I thought conference was on the same day for MS6 and MidIllini.

When did they switch it up? When I was in high school we wrestled them both in the same building and then the champions would wrestle from each conference.

They still had that format in 1999, my freshman year. The following year they switched it to a dual team format for the Mid State 6. That went on for 4 years I believe, and in 2004 they switched it back to a tournament style I think, but separate from the Mid Illini. Last year, the District 150 schools decided to have QND join for wrestling and decided we needed to switch the meet to a completely different day to accomodate QND. So they moved it up a week, because none of the 150 schools had meets scheduled that previous Saturday. However, we did - we had always wrestled Triad, Springfield, and SHG the Saturday before conference. But, as most people know - thats just another battle we lost with Dist 150 and we were put in a bad situation.

does anyone know all of the teams confrence records? i know from results in the paper and catching some of washingtons meets that they have not lost any, but other than that not really sure. thanks for the input!!!!

Pekin threw thier JV team out against Canton and lost so is it even possible for them to win the title with 2 dual losses??

dan, didn't they call the cross conference winner the heart of illinois champ, and have the winners on WHOI sports spot?

It was 'The Heart of Illinois Grand Champion', the guys who are on WHOI are the Chuck Murdock award winners, often the same guys held both honors.
