Flonationals
FloNationals is the top National Tournament for High School Wrestlers. It is an open tournament brought to the wrestling community by Flowrestling and run by the staff of the Walsh Ironman Tournament.
FloNationals will be held just outside of Cleveland, Ohio on March 26, 27th and 28th. The 28th and 29th of March (2nd and 3rd day) will be held at The Walsh Jesuit Gymnasium (same location as the Walsh Ironman). The top 32 Highschool Wrestlers in the Nation will have a bye to day 2 of Flonationals. The best of the rest will go head-to-head during the first day in the "Big Mini" portion of tournament at Kent State. The "Big Mini" will feature 64 wrestlers in each weight class competing for eight spots to move on to the next day of the tournament. If you make day two of the tournament you will wrestle in the most widely covered wrestling in the country ever. There will be fans packed wall-to-wall in the Walsh Jesuit Gym, hundreds of college coaches in attendance, and unprecedented Live and Archived Coverage from Flo broadcasted throughout the entire tournament. Here's the nitty gritty: There will be a 5lb weight allowance for each weight class. You can go up from where you certified AND wrestled at (for at least one match) in season but you cannot go down. Riding time has been included so that college coaches can really see who is ready for the next level. The cost to enter the tournament is $30 to wrestle, coach, or attend. Register for the tournament here if you are up for National Caliber competition: http://flonationals.com/register The Meet Hotel: Clarion Hotel | 240 East Hines Hill Road, Hudson, OH | 330-653-9191 The Airports: Cleveland and Akron If you have any questions you can post them below or email us at support@flocasts.org |
