125: Klinger outwrestled Gomez for 6 minutes of the 7 minute match and in the last 30 seconds got hit with a stalling call and gave up a last second takedown.
133: Flores controlled a close match versus Manzella.
141: Pero had easy go versus overmatched Carr.
149: Tirapelli rode and turned the lesser talented Comfort alot.
157: Alex Tirapelli needs to develop more offense. If he loses to Poeta nad has to wrestle 165, he will have a very tough time to become All-American. Only won 2-0 on a stall and an escape.
165: No match
174: Reynolds looked tough 10-2 over muscular / strong Winterhalter.
184: Friedl was a bit sluggish but won fairly easily.
197: Byrd- same as Friedl.
HWT: A low scoring battle... U of I will struggle at this weight.

Add Ott and Poeta in the mix and this team will compete for the Big10 and should finish in the Top 5 in the country. It was a Fun Day... Wrestling is upon us!!!
