Kenny Jordan and Daniel Dennis
Both are at 133 in the Kaufman/Brand 20 and under division and both are 2-0 on the day. Possibly a rematch of last years state finals if they keep winning.

A Great tournament
I was at the tournament but left after the semis. Several Illinois kids looked great and I have some film if illinoismatmen.com can convert and run it.
Daniel Dennis, Kenny Jordan, Brett Robbins, Brett Ambrosino, Alex Tsirsis, Charles Lloyd, Nick Fanthorpe and the entire NIU team looked good today. Right out the gate the first match I saw was Charles Lloyd against Alex Tsirtis with Tsirtis winning 3-2. I took three steps and watched Nick Fanthorpe lose in 4 overtimes and this was just the first round of action before 10 a.m. Very tough tournament with many, many big names in today's college wrestlers on the mat. The number one teams in NCAA D1, D2, D3 and NJCAA plus number 2 NAIA team in attendance. the big name coaches were there also, Brands, Zalesky, Manning, Grant, Denny, and Douglass in attendance with their teams. And right outside the Sapp Fieldhouse Nebraska Omaha played a great D2 national playoff game against Saginaw Valley (Michigan) and all of us could see that. The wrestling is scheduled to end around 12:30 tonight with over 700 wrestlers competiting. This was well worth the effort to see and I am making plans to come back next year when my own kid participates. It will be fun to have all of the best in the same room.
