Congrats to all the Minooka wrestlers and coaches on achieving the ultimate goal. It sounded like it truly was a team effort. Unfortunately our IESA Regionals are always scheduled during the IHSA State Finals so I couldn't make it. It seems like when some of the Minooka wrestlers didn't come through, others stepped up. That shows what incredible depth they have as a team. Great job by Oughton finishing strong at the end there and then for Meyer to finish things off when he had to - what an awesome finish. Kudos to Matt for getting the job done! Matt's a great kid and I'm so happy for him and I'm sure his family is very proud of him!

Question do you think Minooka is the 4th best team in all classes? Have to think Montini, Marmion, and Cyrstal Lake would most likely beat the top 3a schools.

I think Marmion and Minooka are very close. Looking back at their dual earlier this year, Marmion won nearly all the swing matches...
