Business v Club

I have come to realize that some of the teams in the IKWF. Aren't really a Club as much as they are a Business. I.E. Harvey has payed coaches and dedicated facilities, Gomez has dedicated facilities, SCN has dedicated facilities. (If I'm wrong, please, let me know.)
Who are the top teams that don't have these luxuries? Teams that practice at a school, have volunteer coaches, and operate on a budget smaller than 10 grand, etc...

Here are the top teams from state with those mentioned removed.

2. FORCE WRESTLING - 24 FOR 277.0
5. MARTINEZ FOX VALLEY ELITE - 17 MFV 202.0
6. TINLEY PARK BULLDOGS - 16 TPB 181.0
7. CRYSTAL LAKE WIZARDS - 21 CLW 179.0
8. VITTUM CATS - 18 VC 164.0
9. LITTLE CELTIC WC - 12 LCWC 118.0
10. WOLVES WC - 7 WOLV 114.0
11. WRESTLING FACTORY - 9 WF 111.0
12. DAKOTA WC - 9 DAK 106.0
13. JUNIOR SPARTANS WC - 9 JSPA 100.5
14. BRONCO WRESTLING - 8 BRO 94.0
15. GLADIATORS - 11 GLA 89.0
16. INDIANS ELITE - 8 IE 88.5
17. HARLEM WRESTLING CLUB - 7 HAR 79.5
18. GRANITE CITY WC - 8 GCW 77.0
19. HONONEGAH KIDS WC - 11 HKW 70.5
20. SAUK VALLEY WC - 10 SVW 68.5
21. CROSSTOWN WC - 7 CROS 65.0
22. DOWNERS GROVE COUGARS - 6 DGC 54.0
23. UNITED SOUTHERN ALLSTARS - 6 USA 54.0
24. THE LAW - 4 TLAW 53.5

Yes we do and we are adding 5000 additional square feet. I think a few others on that list practice outside of their local schools.

The Harvey Twisters is a Park District program. Those coaches are there every day all year long for those kids, they go above and beyond wrestling. T4L isn't just a slogan ... they live it. Have you seen their facilities? I've never seen a program make so much from so little. I have a tremendous respect for the program, their accomplishments, and what they do for their kids.

True, but how many other "clubs" have paid coaches?

Anyone?

Faulty logic

If renting out a facility is what distinguishes a "club" from a "business" then some of those listed also pay money to use school facilities and would fall under your definition of a business.

Some clubs, Force for example, are able to afford to rent out "dedicated" facilities because of the large number of kids in the club, sponsorships, fundraisers (including tournaments), having other activities in the "dedicated" facility to offset the costs.

I think a better distinguisher between club and business is if they are trying to turn a profit. i.e. Overtime (and other wrestling schools), if the coach's main source of income is from teaching kids to wrestle, any club that charges $800 fees...

We've been Twisters a little while and I haven't heard that any of the coaches are paid outside of Coach Quint. May be wrong, but if so it's maybe one guy or 2. And it ain't much money!
