Wrestling Books
Hey Folks,
I'm looking to buy some wrestling books for my son for Christmas. I already picked up Rulon Gardner's book. I was thinking about looking for fiction too, because he loved "Wrestling Sturbridge". Does anybody have any ideas? Are there any new ones out there? Thanks |

Good wrestling books
Google search "Mike Chapman" and see if you can't find your way to some books he has written. Mike is the most informed person on amateur wrestling anywhere, and is the founder of WIN Magazine.

Karelin
How about the rule book? hahaha
Seriously, there is some good stuff written about Alexandir Karelin, he is quite the interesting character, no longer a wrestler, now he is a governor in Russia. I forget who the author is, but he writes a lot of sports books that have to do with coming of age, very well- written, quick reads. Couple of them are banned in some counties |

Woops
I just Googled Mike Chapman and got a bunch of hits for a guitar legend. Try this link to the International Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum:

Wrestling books
"Imaginary Girlfriend" by John Irving. He is the author that wrote "The World According to Garp", "Hotel New Hampshire" to name a few. He was a prep and college wrestler that continued to wrestle until his mid 30's and loves the sport. His sons did well at the sport also.
