Team drops 2nd conference meet: Recent personnel problems continue to haunt the team. A reserve wrestler was kicked out of the room, a first stringer quit and a sectional place winner withdrew. In addition 2 other starters were suspended for pushing back against poor coaching behavioral practices. They were suspended for the month of January. Then the 2 suspensions (both also sectional place winners) were reduced to a single non-conference dual meet in time to add them back to the roster against conference rival Elmwood Park. RB still came up short to a team they’ve dominated in recent years. By the end of the evening it also looked like another starter lost to injury. Parents continue to wonder if the wrestler/coach/parent bond, that we saw take hold last year with a new head coach, will take hold this year.

this post on flowrestling was written by riverside wannabe celeb jerry buttimer.see jerry has had the old ad fired as well as some other people.when he decided he didnt like the ad,and mr balderman he went on a witch hunt.jerry blamed the administration for some kids having mersa.then coach dugeti quit.jerry runs the jr bull dog wrestling club if you have some time to kill and need a laugh go on the website and read the "BYLAWS" what a joke.jerry conned the booster club into giving him a video camera and lap top then he used it to produce political slam videos on people he didnt like.when the boosters called him on it and wanted the equiptment back jerry went after them.tried to dig up dirt or smear them any way he could.now it seems jerry has a problem with the new wrestling coach.someone jerry has been praising up untill now.jerry claims the coach used foul language .
case and point.--im what you might call old school.the things my coachs said and did made me who i am.now im not saying they where right at times.dropping the ocasional f bomb.so on and so forth.but lets get real here.if a coach grabs a players facemask and yells or screams are we going to call the police?or if a coach says LADIES GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR A@@#@.are we going to file a sexual descrimination grivence?if you dont like the way sports or coaching is?join chess club,take baking classes,or work in a library.now before everyone gets mad i play a mean game of chess wile at the library reading baking books !lol!my point is here goes jerry buttimer again!!

the AD he orchestrated in forcing out was none other than 40 year coach/10+ year AD and R-B legend, otto zeman.

he (buttimer), of course had the cooperation of three newly elected nitwit school board members.

being an r-b alumnus, this is a disgrace. this out of control power freak needs to be stopped.

Jerry is a wonderful man. I have known him for over 7 years and have always found him more than pleasant to deal with. That's my two cents on him overall as a person. Judging from what I am taking away from this video, is that he was disappointed on how a skin disease took over the wrestling program. But I cannot really believe he stirred the pot for just the sake of stirring the pot. I have always got the impression he looks out for the kids in the community. People can say what they want about my response saying I don't know the whole story (which is completely true, but then again how many people all know the WHOLE story), but Jerry has always given me the impression he cares about the kids and success of his community.

a skin problem should not be used as a political smear campain.theres a thing called chain of command!if you really wanted to help PICK UP A MOP!things should be handled from WITHIN!.watch all the videos from rbboosters.the boosters didnt make them jerry did.now jerrys mad at the new coach so hes posting negative updates on flowwrestling.i agree with new to wrestling "DISGRACE"
its not about being nice or not .its about hurting a wrestling program wile playing politics

I want everyone to know that the kids club BWC backs Bill (H.S. head coach being libeled) up 100%. The coaches, parents, and kids could not be happier to have him oversee the development of these kids. We are a different club now entirely. The kids club was soft to put it mildly. This will explain why the coach is currently getting resistance from some kids and parents. Hard work and excellence was not the benchmark. This is changing and the kids being sent to Bill in the future will reflect this. We have over 50 wrestlers this year far more than double from just two years ago and Bill is a large part of the reason. Some naive parents thought Bill would show some move from Iowa that no one has seen to bring success. Bill is bringing back the basics with an emphasis on conditioning, toughness, and grind. Let’s put this in perspective. He wrestled for top programs his whole career such as the Vittum Cats, Mount Carmel, and Iowa under the legendary Dan Gable. He is trying to push these kids to heights they do not believe they can reach. Get out of the way and let him bring the kind of work ethic needed and the results will follow. The kids will look back on this in the future… there will be no doubt who had their best interest in mind.

yes this is the mentality of some people.like i endorsed the coach.had nothing but nice things to say about him.BUT THAT WAS ON MY TERMS!now i want him FIRED!

Wow, Jerry worked fast this time. It's true Bill is gone. When will everyone wake up and see what this guy has been doing for the past couple years. Not only to the sports programs but the school in general.

It is true, yesterday when i arrived for our meet at 3:00 i was pulled into the AD's office and informed that i was being fired for "use of foul language". The thing that frustrates me is that i have put so much time and effort into developing every aspect of the program. Before i got there there were 25 kids in the Jr. Bulldogs, now there is over 50. At the end of last season before i was even in the running for head coach, i made the decision to sacrifice my summer for the sake of starting a freestyle club because thats what i thought the boys needed. I've tried only to be an ambassador of the sport i love in a community that up to this point could careless about wrestling.
