State champions round robin tournament

In a hypothetical round robin tournament with the champs from the 3 classes, what would happen? Would 3A dominate? How many 2A guys would win? Could any 1A guys win? Would there be any classes where all three go 1-1? besides 215 would there be any competitive weight classes? I didn't see enough wrestling this season to have an educated opinion but I would love to hear yours.

I think 119 could go to Harrison from A Stillman Valley. I think Cooper, Smith, Congenie, and Allen are heavy favorites for AAA victories. I would put Whitford, Kielbasa, and Harrah as heavy favorite for AA wins and the rest could go either way with AA and AAA dominating the A guys but splitting amongst themselves. I would favor Marsden at 215, but it could be a 1-1 type of split.

215 might go 1-1 and didn't Fischer beat Harrison this year for Harrison's only loss and Elmore would probably beat both of them. I'd like to see how well Alber would do this year he absolutely destroyed all his competition this year.

Nice List

Well done, I always apprciate the poster who 'goes first'. You have given all others something to reply to, and enjoy. Thanks

Quick comment at 171:

171-steve congenie (3A)
sam brooks
Dustin Ventimiglia
jack dechow
aj messenger
jake apple

Based upon the state tournament finals, I'd flip Messenger and Dechow, but maybe I put too much importance in the results of the actual matches .

Messenger

Didn't Messenger beat Ventimiglia too? The Belleville West coaches told me that Messenger was one of Ventimiglia's two losses before the state tournament.

Nice update, you are right. Messenger won that match in the semi finals at Mohamet Seymour.

Kent from wauconda at 215 also beat Hein at sectionals. I"d flip those two, also Reel did lose to Willis, but I think he is the overall better wrestler of the two, just not on the day when Willis beat him. I also think Garelli might beat Jimenez, but I like most of your picks. It would be interesting to see this happen, but its all just guessing right now.

Garelli almost majored Jimenez in pre-season, he would be my favorite at 103.
