Information on Chris Hruska

If you have not heard, former Conant HS & SIU-E wrestler, Chris Hruska lost his battle with cancer this past weekend. A Memorial service will be held at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (930 W. Higgins Rd) in Schaumburg on April 17th at 3pm.

Chris Hruska was a lifelong member of the Illinois wrestling community. He is a former IKWF State Champion and two-time high school state place winner for Conant High School. He wrestled collegiately for SIU-E and is a former NCAA Division II National Qualifier. Chris dedicated much of his adult life to coaching at the youth, high school and college levels. Coach Hruska was diagnosed with brain cancer.
