Overtime

With Bormet moving on and Kading as well, will parents feel like OT is the best place to train in the state? When OT started there was arguable only one place where guys could train FS/GR but now there are "too many" options...maybe that is part of the reason Bormet decided to move on. But back to the question, will OT be the preferred destination?

Why not? The system is in place! It is not like Bormet ran every practice. What makes what he has and is doing is the vision that he has for the place and that vision is something that is long lasting and not about him but about the sport and his belief system. The owner of Wendy's is dead but, he had a strong system and it is still running strong today and evern better. He is not going to put a coach in place that will not keep his standards and I doubt he sells his share in the company it just would not make sense. He is not too far away.

So developing wrestlers = making french fries? (and BTW, the new Wendy's french fries are AWFUL!)

So the man himself is unimportant to the process of development such that without even knowing who the next guy is you can presume everything is going to continue to be a reflection of the departed guy's vision?

So aren't you then saying that a particular coach is unimportant but his vision -- which can be translated easily onto others -- is what drives the development of youg wrestlers?

Maybe he's opening up Overtime-Across-the-Lake then? Especially if he's not required to be there.

Somebody should write the tell-all book on the Fall of the St. Marmion dynasty followed by the collapse of the Overtime empire -- it'd be a scorcher!

Love the Sea Salt!

It is about the system that was the point. I never said he was not important but, more important in any good company is the system and the people you put into the system to run it. The ground work has been laid and like anything else if you have a vision and a good foundation things should be able to carry on with or without you and this is what I believe Bormet built.

She you are like my wife, dont listen only thinking about what your reply is going to be.

Sad

Marmion did not build their program the way Shawn built his business. He put in hardwork it took time to network and get people to by in. Marmion tryed the quick fix and it did not work. I am not saying that there is not a chance that it wont fail but, there is a better chance that it will run strong with a good foundation.

Most people do not realize just how important a part Kerry plays in this whole thing. He is more behind the scences but, he is a very good coach and he is really good it seems on the business side of things

I like the sea salt too but the fries themsleves -- ecch!

By your rationale, Penn State doesn't need Cael anymore, he built the program up currently and things should be able to carry on with or without him.

Sad to stay married to someone you dislike. So sad.

Only to the people who don't believe the Truth is Out There (that's a play on words there).

That being said, I don't have the first idea what happened with Overtime. Many speculations but little facts = better not to share any opinions.

As for St. Marmion, well, all I can say is I am SURE that the greatest mass exodus since the Jews left Egypt probably has a moral to the story.
