Sherrard wrestling coach ...
Here is a story on Sherrard wrestling coach Jeff Garrett, who is legally blind due to Stargardt's disease. This is in Monday's edition of The Dispatch and The Rock Island Argus.

Jeff is an amazing guy with an awesome assistant coach. He is truly an inspiration!

Jeff is a good guy too. He stepped in after Sherrards coach took the Moline job and kept the program at a high level. Good luck Jeff....

hmmmm....it may be just me but i sense a great amount of sarcasm here.. idk maybe just the that sets it off but i personally know jeff and despite his vision everything else about him is great believe it or not. i dont appreciate undermining anyone in the wrestling community. (not saying thats what u were getting at).

Uhmmm...no. I completely agree with everything you've said. I also personally know Jeff, and Clayton, my son, has done camps for him in the summer for the past 2-3 years. You won't find a better guy. Sorry. You're undermining yourself here. The wink was "for" Jeff, not at him....

On the other note... two very quality teams going to battle. Anyone have the projected line-ups? Either team weak at a weight class due to an injury?
