Rankings
Hello Everyone-
I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm starting to complile stats, brackets, and all the usual stuff for the first set of rankings. I know that tournaments and duals are underway, but I haven't got much information yet. All I really have are the duals posted by Eureka (thanks, coach!) and the O'Brien Brackets from Saturday, which someone e-mailed me (thanks, secret coach!). If you want to email me to keep the information off the board, my email is therankster@rocketmail.com. My policy is that I don't post any information you don't want me to, but simply use it to create the most accurate rankings possible (and they're always perfect). You can PM me with questions/comments as well. The more information I have, the more accurate the rankings will be. I do not have the La Grange tourney results or any other duals. Start sending. StatmanJD, where are you?

Does not seem like people are quite as enthused this year? I've been folllowing Matmen for 5 years and I've never seen this much lack of participation. I know the IESA forum is not as hot as the IHSA ones but even the IHSA forums are slow this year!!
We don't wrestle again until the Olympia tournament but I'll send results from there and keep you updated on our team results. Thanks for all you do!!!

Thanks for the support, all. I know not everyone is in full swing yet, but I just wanted to send out the message so that I can get people posting (or sending to me) and sending me tournament brackets.
Also, I need the weights of the people who are ranking/hm material. I have a ton of SQs from last year and other tough wrestlers whose weights are still unknown. Send 'em over. I usually do my first set of rankings the week after Channahon. So until then I'm just compiling information. Have a good holidays, to everyone.

Channahon Tournament
Where is the Channahon tournament held at? Is this a good tournament and are their any other teams besides the local teams from the Joliet area? I was hoping to come watch some good wrestling but would like to see some really tough competition from other teams from the state. When is this tournament? Why do you wait until the Channahon tournament ids done before putting togather rankings? I'm new to this forum, so I know I ask a lot of questions. Sorry! Thanks
