After sitting here and reading some of the responses in this thread, and on other threads, it seems like Illinois Matmen has a problem with some CYBER-BULLYING.
You guys are openly letting users trash wrestlers names on here, what if that wrestler got on here and saw all that you are saying about them, then was down in the dumps for the rest of the meet, or worse, what if they decided then and there to go and end it all.
You all need to reconsider what you are saying, just because they are wrestlers and have a tough side doesn't mean that they still don't have the soft side inside them. Inside they are human too.
After I gave a presentation in the Nations Capitol about Cyber-Bullying, it has become an issue very near and dear to my heart.
I figured that I would post this here, because it would call attention to the issue, might I add that Cyber-Bullying is ILLEGAL in the state of Illinois.

I'm not defending anyone here, and I don't agree with directing negative comments towards a high school kid. But I don't think anything that has been said on here would constitute cyber-bullying. I can see where if some of the discussions on here are about a family member where it may be hurtful, but that doesn't make it cyber-bullying. I copied the Illinois Statute for Bullying and Cyber Bullying below.

105 ILCS 5/27-23.7 Bullying/Harassment (2010) defines bullying and prohibits it in the school environment on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry age, marital status, physical or mental disability, military status, sexual orientation, gender-related identity or expression, unfavorable discharge from military service, association with a person or group with one or more of the aforementioned actual or perceived characteristics, or any other distinguishing characteristic. No student shall be subject to bullying during any school-sponsored education program or activity, while in school, on school property, on school buses or other school vehicles, at designated school bus stops waiting for the bus, at schools-sponsored or school-sanctioned events or activities, or through the transmission of information from a school computer, school computer network or other similar electronic school equipment. Bullying make take various forms, including without limitation one or more of the following: harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking, physical violence, sexual harassment, sexual violence, theft, public humiliation, destruction of property, or retaliation for asserting or alleging an act of bullying.

105 ILCS 5/27-23.7Cybery Bullying-prohibits bullying (as defined in the statute) in the school environment and includes in its definition of bullying electronic communications. Bullying is specifically prohibited through the transmission of information from a school computer, a school computer network, or other similar electronic school equipment.

No one here is cyber bullying anyone. We are simply voicing our opinion. No one has said that anyone sucks or that they don't deserve to be there. They all give 100%. That is why they are there.
