Morrison regional

From the time I was there it moved along very smoothly, and was ran very well. The biggest issue, is why wasn't held at the high school? There was no where near enough seating to handle the crowd, the high school should have been used or some other site. When you have older parents and grandparents there, that have no way to see their kids wrestle because of seating, then it's a bad situation.

The seating would be the same at the HS considering you would only be able to pull out one set of bleachers to get enough mats out. The Junior High is really the better place for it.

Pretty sure the seating on one side of the high school gym is larger than one side of the junior high, court is longer, and bleachers go higher. Plus the coaches and wrestlers don't need the entire side of the gym. Half or a third of those bleachers could have been pulled out on the other side. Then you use the stage for the head table. There is definitely a better way to get it done. They ran the tourney well, just didn't plan for enough seating.

The mats fit better in the Jr. High.....and there is no stage anymore. They had to put a permanent wall up with a 4ft wide door. The concession facility is much more equipped to handle a larger crowd at the Jr. High too. The bleachers a just a few rows higher at the HS, not sure how many more people that means.
