I do not know, but it is very difficult to train and coach and stay healthy and raise a family at his age or at any age for that matter. John Smith retired after winning the olympics and he repeatedly said that it was very hard to train and coach.
I think Cael just had a dose of reality and decided to enjoy and focus on coaching.
