Bobby Douglas Legends of Wrestling Camp

Coach Bobby Douglas is currently working to develop our sport’s future USA Olympians through

“Project 2020—GOAL IS GOLD.”

This summer, Hall of Fame collegiate and Olympic coach Bobby Douglas will be conducting his personal two day USA Wrestling developmental camp at Shepard High School in Palos Heights on Friday, June 22nd, and Saturday, June 23rd. The two day developmental camp will cover technical skills designed to improve wrestler’s hand fighting, positioning, set-ups, offense and defense on their feet, effective breakdowns and turns, as well as successful freestyle fundamentals. Also working in conjunction with Coach Douglas will be Hall of Fame wrestling coach and University of Iowa National Champion, Jim Craig. The cost of the camp covers two day wrestling instruction, a camp t-shirt, and Beggar’s Pizza on the final day of camp. We are looking to conduct the camp in the gym in order to provide access for coaches to have the opportunity to watch instruction. The camp will be a beneficial learning experience for Illinois youth and high school wrestlers as well as an invaluable clinic opportunity for our state’s coaches.

§ REGISTRATION: SHEPARD CAFETERIA—3:00 PM ON FRIDAY—PLEASE HAVE USA WRESTLING CARD PRESENT AT REGISTRATION
