Pre-Wrestling skills development

My son just turned 4 and I'm looking for activities/training that will prepare him for wrestling if he wants to wrestle later on. We're in Chicago right near the United Center. My initial thoughts are Judo or some other martial arts training. I like the skills that people like Kading, Max, and others brought to the sport as newcomers. Looking for advice/ideas. Hoping Mac has some thoughts especially.

There's nothing better IMO than swimming or gymnastics.

These two, along with wrestling, are the holy trinity of preparing any kid to be the best they can be in sports.

Swimming for endurance; gymnastics for core body strength; and wrestling for mental toughness.

He'll be in swimming later this summer but I hadn't thought about gymnastics. Great call! I remember a few gymnastics transfers into wrestling back in the day who were insanely strong.
