Wow, what a morning so far! I've got three screens going, this is awesome. Scott through to the Semi's, Dlagnev up now in the semi's and Herbert on deck for his quarter match.

Can anyone explain the scoring in the Herbert match? I thought it should have been 3-3 after the scramble. How'd they come up with 6-0?

I saw them award 3 to Herbert and then 2 and 1 to AZE. Then, the morons who cannot work the scoreboard don't even put a single score on the scoreboard. All Zeke wanted was a score on the scoreboard!

At one point, they had awarded the points, but still would not put them on the scoreboard.

I am just thankful I live in the good old USA. How do you train day after day and just get screwed out of an opportunity like this because some idiot does not know how to take his finger and hit the scoreboard keys to advance it. That is what set this whole thing into motion. If the scorekeeper would have entered the scores as the head referree was awarding them, Herbert would have wrestled more. And, there wouldn't need to be the challenge.

I would like to go back and watch it again, but I am too mad right now.

Horrible officiating...what a bunch of idiots. The series SHOULD have been scored 3-2; Herbert got the feet to back exposure on the counter (3), and then the Azebijani got 1-exposure, 1-take down (2). Herbert may not have gone on to win the match, but at least he would have had a chance. Those idiots scored it 3-2-1 which ended the period and the match. Brutal.

Just saw the Herbert match for the 1st time. BRUTAL! Those guys had NO IDEA what was going on! How does that happen in freshmen wrestling let alone the Olympics?! I don't know how Zeke restrained himself and didn't get a red card.

You saw Zeke turn towards the crowd that was booing him and put his hands up like "WHAT", we just screwed from people who have no idea what there doing. SAD, but refs do play a huge role in many outcomes of wrestling matches.
