"Stars Earn Stripes"
In case you missed the season premier, it airs again on Monday, 7-9p CST. A friend of mine and former comrade in arms, Dale Comstock, is part of the show. It involves several celebrities paired-up with a law enforcement/military operative as they go thru training and a series of missions, trying to earn $$$$ for charity. At first I thought it might be cheesy, but after I watched the first episode...wow. I highly recommend it!

What network is this on? I heard the first episode had Chris Kyle on, sounds good.

Watched it on mckbln's endorsement....HATED IT! Nothing like trying to desinsitize people to war by parading around celebrities in "boot camp."

Then you totally missed the point. I don't care if you liked the show or not, but it has nothing to do with "desensitizing" people to war. In fact, most of the military operators on the show are decorated combat vets a few I know personally, and none of them would be associated with the show at all if that were true. All the celebs participating are doing it FOR CHARITY. If anything, I would say that several of the celebrities had VERY humbling experiences. Any idiot who thinks this has anything remotely to do with actual combat or war is, well, an idiot. It's entertainment, it's competative, and it's for a really good cause.

Who do you think will win? My money is on Todd Palin/Chris Kyle.

Thank goodness it is for charity or else it would be pointless. Although I respect ALL of our vets, that doesn't mean that the show is good.
