Looking for advice or help

Three weeks ago while looking on CSMS web site i learned that there was no wrestling coach. We meet with the administration two weeks ago they told us they would put out an internal posting for a coach, but they told us they were not hopeful .We talked about a coop and they said they would send out email to other schools . Friday we were told no one internally expressed any interest in coaching internally. We know time is running out we would appreciate any advice or help in this matter .

Who is CSMS and where is it located?

If they can't find an internal candidate they need to look for someone outside.

Very sad to see this once strong program go in this direction... Only 2 years ago they were one of the better teams in the Lake County area....Really wish the Mundelein school success in getting back to where they once had been. I suggest getting to the HS coach and voice your concerns and seek his help as Sandburg is a feeder program for Mundelein HS.

Mundelein High School has some great new coaches. Vince and Roy who both helped out at Libertyville High School and have some great wrestlers who came from Hawthorn North and Carl Sandburg. Carl Sandburg sent them 1 State Qualifier and 1 State placer and Hawthorn North has sent them 4 State Qualifiers and 1 State placer this yr. Plus some others. Pat Hernandez has done a great job with the program and it's hard to get the kids to come out and keep the grades up. Like I said before sometimes your a babysitter 1st then a coach and no one like to be a babysitter. I hope Carl Sandburg gets a coach.

Just don't let them tell you that people haven't applied to teach and coach there! Most won't want to coach without teaching myself included.
