Good idea for a thread Foxf. I just saw Rasheen Lemon PW recover a fumble for NIU. Any other Illinois wrestlers sightings on the field today? Too bad Ohio State got mixed up in all that tattoo stuff cuz they would be in the hunt for the national championship

Ohio St might be the best team in the Pig Ten, but they would NOT be a threat to win the BS, er BCS title. Teams like Florida, Alabama, Oregon, and South Carolina MUCH better than the Buckeyes. I doubt they would be Notre Dame either.

Mck, the topic was wrestlers playing today. But think about it, if they did not have sanctions the kids at OS might be even hungrier. Plus, LSU is playin at A&M. Lot of things could happen in the SEC. I agree, they are the best conference.

I was at the Neb-OSU game a couple weeks ago and Goebel's name was getting mentioned on most plays. Had a heck of a game.

I watched that game on TV and saw him make a lot of plays too.

I know Jack Allen (Hinsdale) is a starting offensive lineman (center this week against Michigan) for Michigan State. He is as tough as ever...saw him pancake several Michigan players...

What would be the lowest weight class a kid wrestled at Senior year and went on to play D1 football? (speaking of that...Evander Holyfield was too small to make his high school football team...according to him...)

Mike Anello took 3rd at 135 his senior year and went on to be a starter on special teams for Notre Dame.

Garrett has had a great career, as a 2 year starter at nose tackle, and was elected team captain this year.
