TRAVEL CAMP
Young Guns Wrestling is doing their second annual Travel Camp. Last year, we had Pennsylvania and Michigan wrestlers come and train in Iowa at Loras College for a week camp, with assigned dual meet teams and matches, technique, and a individual tournament the final day of the camp. Last year there was over
200 kids at the Camp, and it was a huge success. We started the camp with the idea of making a way for someone to go to a camp outside their wrestling region, and see new styles, technique, and training ways and still be affordable. The cost is $345 total, this includes, travel, room, board, and the wrestling camp. This year, we are taking 100 wrestlers (limit 100) to Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. We will take a chartered bus that leaves from Dubuque, Ia on the 15th of July, and returns the 22nd. For details on the camp, and to see the camp staff, log on to
www.younggunswrestling.com Coaches who bring 5 high school wrestlers or more, recieve 50 dollars off each application. Try and find a better camp, with this kind of opportunity to train and compete with different area wrestlers, at this kind of price.
For those who wonder about the conflict with Fargo, the dates were picked to please the majority of the wrestling population, to stay away from fall football, and after summer baseball. Percentage wise, few wrestlers compete in freestyle and greco in the summer, compared to the total number of wrestlers who wrestle period.
