Good. The court of public opinion loses again to the court of a jury of your peers.

No. OJ did it or knew who did it. He bought his way out. Now Joe did not do this and if you read between the lines you can see there were other issues here such as the boyfriend and the rolling over. O J had big money, Joe does not! Big difference.

Joe got off and hopefully will change and go on to do more good things in his life. However, no one will ever know what happened besides Joe and the girl. Twister, how can you be so sure of what happened? Was it because Joe told you, hes a 4 time IL state champ, or because hes a twister? or is it just from reading in between the lines? I admit im being a smartass but Im also curious.

I always hate the public reaction to a not guilty verdict. Why can't anyone accept that he is not guilty -- legally it is as if he didn't do it. This doesn't mean he actually didn't do the act, it means that it wasn't proved beyond a reasonable doubt -- maybe he really didn't do it or maybe the evidence was insufficient. Regardless, the case is over and he should be treated like everyone else who has never been or convicted. All those that are looking to take him down a notch despite the verdict ought worry about other things like their own actions.

Because I have common sense and can smell a b.s. case. I mean come on it is not that hard which is why the jury could not convict between a shadow. If she was so honorable why was her husband not there. Because it was a setup. But these are just my opinions and views. Like you said only Joe and the girl know but her story was very weak.

I was responding to what I viewed as unecessary gloating by Mr Twister. I find it ironic that he will rip folks who talk about any ex Twisters who get in trouble with the law or those who ever qustion the character of ex Twisters and then come on and take a shot at "Public Opinion" when an outcome goes his way. I think it just draws more attention to an unfortunate situation and lets more people in the wrestling community become aware of something they may never have heard about. I would imagine Joe Williams isn't proud of this incident and wouldn't want it to be talked about.

As far as smelling BS a mile away? Come on Twist. I doubt you know more about the law, this case, the accusers or what really happened thatn anyone else. Give your boy a pass on this one? Thats Ok. Better to give your boy a break and let this one fade away.

Oh I doubt that the wrestling community did not know this case exist. Let's see now. Results in the newspaper, themat and Sportscenter. Copy of article post on this site. hmmmnnn. I was not gloating or whatever. I did not start the thread. I just responded with my opinion like you did. Maybe if my log in name was something else you would of felt different. The bottom line is he was found not guilty but this will always be around. That is why Joe said he may not get a coaching job. There are those that will still hold this against him in spite of being aquitted. Fade away? I hope you are right but some have long memories. Ask OJ. He was aquitted too.
