post high school, not quite college.

I was just wondering if there are any tournaments, fall or spring greco and freestyle tournaments for those of us that have graduated, like senior division, but are not wrestling in college, but would still like to roll around. are there clubs or anything like that, or open tournaments.

There are numerous open folkstyle tournaments during November and December. But there are not too many opportunities to wrestle the international styles. You will be wrestling college guys and a very few guys like yourself wrestling unattached. If you're in shape, it can be a lot of fun. If you're not in shape, make sure that there is a trash can close to the side of the mat.
Here is a list of college tournaments. Almost every tournament that is called an "Open" accepts unattached wrestlers. The rest only accept college kids.

Beginning in March, you have a couple of months where there are quite a few opportunities for you to wrestle the international styles and especially freestyle. Ranging from local tournaments that offer "open" or "senior" division wrestlers to national tournaments that don't even involve a qualifier. But during this period, there isn't much opportunity to wrestle folkstyle. Take your pick.

thanks.

thanks a lot. i wrestle for my colleges club team, so I'll be in shape when i get back from school (i hope) and i just wanna roll around for a bit and stay active. I get tossed around up here, especiall when we go to d1 tournaments like the emu open, so wrestling the good guys wont be anything new to me. Just wanna stay active in the sport and gain some more experience.
