Sectional Qualifiers
Pat Miller So. Barrington 24-16 Josh Fiorito Jr. Barrington 34-6 Chandler Wiseman Jr. Barrington 26-6 Jon Sesso Jr. Barrington 34-4 David Kneisel Jr. Barrington 32-8 Jeff Sayre Jr. Barrington 25-10 Tyler Rossdeutcher So. Prospect 18-10 Jonny Brennan So. Prospect 30-8 Matt Boggess Fr. Prospect 25-4 David Petlicki Jr. Prospect 31-9 Brandon Zaucha Jr. Prospect 22-10 Peter Zintak So. Prospect 36-2 Prospect is returning everyone. Barrington graduated cieply and madding. Last year was Barrington's year. Prospect, a young team 2 years ago now has plenty of varsity experience. I say they are better.. Also in a dual think about heads up. Bogess would beat barrington's best wrestler heads up and he has 3 times before. Swing matches. I see prospects lower weights dominating, and barringtons middles dominating. Also figure in another swing match is Zintak vs Sayre. Throw an always tough wheeling into the mix and here we goo. The MSL Conference has gotten very strong. Last edited by dancewithme0085; 10-11-2006 at 12:21 AM. Reason: added |

Southsidecoach, it looks like all that work over the summer is paying off and Bloom is on the rise. I remember when Bloom was on top of the heap. they were tough.

I don't think so, especially given the sectional they are in.

Realistically, Naperville North will probably be 4th in their own conference.

Didn't they lose their best wrestler, a defending state champ?

Exactly. NN has been very tough for 20-plus years now, but losing Jordan Johnson not only effects how they will perform this year as a unit (losing crucial team points along the way), but it affects DJ Bruce directly, too. Losing a state champion practice partner isn't the end of the world, but that's a big deal for a kid like Bruce who has the potential to win state this year. Who fills Jordan's shoes in the NN room and can push a kid like Bruce to be better than he has been?

Very true. I know NN has some other decent kids like Nutt and SQ Lopes, but it's not the same team as 2 years ago with Greenwalt and Fanthopre. Plus, as mentioned before, they are in a BEAR of a conference and sectional. I will get a good look at them at Conant in November.
