In the semis against Pretto, Hecox appeared to have hurt his knee. Then, in the wrestlebacks, he again favored his knee after the match. I am guessing that the injury might have been the reason he did not wrestle in the 5th place match.

You missed a good tournament Lock!

However, one MAJOR complaint I have with the tournament. The thing I don't understand is why they ran the 3rd, 5th and 7th place matches so haphazardly all at the same time on all the different mats. There was no ryme or reason as to who was wrestling where and at 2pm it wasn't like they were pressed for time. It made no sense because if you didn't follow the bout numbers you would've had no clue who was wrestling for what? Whicever mat came up available is where the next consolation match went!

Next year they should have the 3rd place matches in the center and the 5th one side and the 7th on the other. This system made no sense whatsoever and made it hard to follow what was going on. Fortunately they only ran 2 mats for the finals.

I know... I was there yesterday... It was their 1st yr...

Hopefully they can add some more out of state teams, such as Apple Valley MN, I would also like to see some teams from out east come to the tourny..... Also with two gyms, the Ironman in Ohio has a great system so you can get scores from the other gym as the tournament is going, it all live.... Even team scores, they are calculated as soon as the bout is over... Its time to take the Dvorak to the next level... with ICW here it shows Illinois is ready to take this thing big time!!!

Yeah I agree. A couple more good teams from out of state like Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan etc. would be good. I'd also like to see a good class A team or two thrown in there too like a Dakota or someone comparable.

I dont know how well the class A teams would compete, however if they are the top team I would agree.... I think they need to make this tourny comparable to the Beast and Ironman... Right now its now...But it could get there, with a few more teams...

Dakota of last year.. no problem competing. Not sure about this year though they're still tough.

That is a great suggestion for anyone running this tournament next year. Completely confusing to follow those place matches. 3 mats next year for the 3rd, 5th and 7th places PLEASE!
