At 112 with Milks, Bucy, and Hood all on the same side of the bracket so one of them won't be going to state when it's clear all 3 deserve to go. Thats some bad luck. At heavyweight with 3 people having only one loss, thats going to be a good bracket to watch. If all 3 don't make it then those will be upsets. 125 should go to Alber no problem unless Vance/Petersen can come away with that. 130 should also be interesting with Bybee and Benesh on the same side. Clayton will have absolutely no problem with his bracket or his bracket at state either. He should win state no problem.

While I Agree that Clayton will walk through his bracket, I think he will get a match a state, dont overlook Jake Holiday from Herrin, he too is undefeated, and after that coveted title. given up 1 take down all year long, and is just awesome!

I'd go with Daly in the title match vs. Reidl. Daly's loss was an injury default to Reidl while he had I believe a 5-2 lead, Reidl's loss was to Daly at the Morrison Tourny in OT and Bohland's was an OT loss to Reidl. Good bracket. Daly beats Bush again to get to the title while Bohland and Reidl's semi will be great, I'll take Reidl. Unless I have read my brackets incorrectly, those are my picks at HWT.

Yeah - I have a prediction - once again over half of the champions in Champaign will come out of the Oregon sectional. Some of the divisions are incredibly deep!!

yeah, but any herrin kids record doesnt impress me. Who has he wrestled is all I say?
I think other than Vandalias' kids, that cheeseman kid a couple years back is about the only southern wrestler I was actually somewhat impressed with.
most get annihilated once they face a good kid. of course there is the rare exception, and Im not saying your herrin kid isnt that guy. But, from past experience, Im not getting my hopes up.

Oregon

Well I will take a stab at what I think is going on. I will list who I think will finish in the top 4.
103-Harris(Ful), Johnson(LeWin), Fish(Byron), Timmer(Orion) although Garnhart(Polo) could be a sleeper for third

112-Milks(Dakota), Full(Amboy), Bucy(kewanee), Adams(Byron)

119-Rush(Aledo), Hannon(Newman), McLuckie(West Carroll), Whaley(Stillman), alothough Krider might have enough left in his tank this year to possibley make an upset bid

125-Alber(dakota), Peterson(Oregon), Vance(Riverdale), and Sonneville(Aledo), the semi between Vance and Petersopn thogh could go either way

130-Bybee(IVC), Musgrove(orion), Benesh(Stillman), and messenger(oregon)

135-My picks to be in the semi's are McIntyre(West Carroll), Kraft(Dakota), Taylor(Princeton), and Harding(Byron), but then you have to throw in Lahman (AFC) and Hawley(Stillman) in the mix. Finals I see Kraft vs Taylor, and then McIntyre vs Harding, tough weight to pick, one of the deeper ones at oregon

140-This weight has the must see matches Friday night in this Sectional. With the way guys like Russell(Erie-Ptown) and Mathieu(Stillman) and then into Stenzel(IVC), Tapia(Rockridge) and Mills(West Carroll), Duarte(kewanee) wrestling into Colletti(Byron) and Secrist(Riverdale) wrestling into Emmerick(orion) all on Friday. Not seeing or hearing alot about many of these guys this year I will leave this weight alone, but could you imagine if harvard had stayed in this regional with Rob Brady also competing? I am betting at least 2 of your medal winners in Champaign this year at this weight come from this sectional.

145-Herman(LeWin) finally breaks through and getting that well deserved trip to Champaign after being in loaded brakets the last two years, Vanderleast(Morrison) winning a close one in the semi's, Stubbs(Erie-Ptown) and then McLure(princeton)

152-Potnack(Lewin) and Bird(princeton) win be a great final, followed by Jarvis(Newman) between Banks(Fulton) and Schwager(Orion) depending on what Banks we see this weekend.

160-Kraft(Dakota) and Bahrs(newman) in the finals, with Starver(Lewin) over Asefi(Riverdale) only if Asefi is offensive

171-Bonvillion(lewin) over Leigh(Princeton), rounded out by Schrock(Amboy) and Behn(Bago)

189-Kuebel(Fulton)/Jones(macomb) winner vs Kirkland(Newman), toss up for third here from the bottom half of the bracket. Kirkhove(Sherard), Spangler(Riverdale) and Guerrero(Mendota) will be intresting

215-I am going with Meyers(Macomb) over Hubble(West Carroll) in the semi's, but after watching Hubble this last weekend, he is my third place pick. Alberstett(Durand) and Mclean(Riverdale) will have a battle in the consolation semi's for a shot at third

275-I am going to go with Bush(Polo) and Reidl(AFC) in the finals, with Daly(Durand) facing Bohland(Orion) for third

steamerfan, couple of ?s

I would disagree about Bush in the final. I'm pretty sure he has lost to Reidl, Daly, and Bohland. Daly dominated him earlier this year, I don't Reidl had much problem with him but I could be wrong. I do think Reidl/Daly will be a battling in a great final, and they both get after it more than your typical hwts. You also left Houghton out of the 189 mix, oversight?? or you just don't think he has it?
