Danny Braunagel, Sr, Belleville Althoff, 160 – Tech falled his way though the Quincy Tournament becoming the new all-time IHSA leader for techs with 63.
Drake Jennings, Sr, Stillman Valley, 195 – Beat 1A #2 Brandon Hoselton (Prairie Central) 3-0 in the semis and 1A #1 Justin Coggins (Clifton Central) 5-1 in the finals of the Reed-Custer Invite.
Robbie Precin, Sr, Andrew, 126 – Beat returning state champ, currently #1 in 2A, and #1 in the power rankings Austin Macias (Burlington Central) 5-2 at the Batavia Invite where he was voted outstanding wrester for the lower weights and helped his team win another tournament title.
John Paul Smith, Jr, Wheeling, 145 – Went 4-0 on the weekend with 1 major decision and 3 falls including a fall over 3A #2 Kendall Coleman (Mt. Carmel).
