And the nominees are (sorted alphabetically):

Sincere Bailey, So, TF North, 132/138 – After defeating both Kyle Schickel (#3 in 2A) in dual meet and Josh Ramos (#3 in 3A) en route to his Geneseo title last week at 138 lbs, Sincere followed his performance up by winning the SSC crown at 132lbs with a 17-1 tech fall of Drew Nash (#4 in 2A) in the finals. He was also awarded the “Jim Craig” award for most outstanding wrestler of the conference.
Andrew Bejarano, Sr, Plainfield South, 285 – Defeated 3A #1 and nationally ranked Aydin Guttridge of Rockford East 4-2.
Brad Gross, Sr, Marmion, 160 – OW at this weekend’s loaded Chicago Catholic League tournament with a fall in the finals.
Gabe Spencer, Jr, Heyworth, 120/126 – Bumped up a weight class at Mahomet due to a full bracket at 120 as the team was a late entry. Won 126, beating Keating (Naperville Central), 2A #2 Daugherty (PND), and Antle (Lasalle-Peru) bringing his season mark to 33-0.
