  • South at State

Congrats to all the southern boys. Looks like the south had 5 wrestlers in the finals.

Congrats to the Crusaders gang. We sure had a great time!! Took 6th place in the Novice division. Tenth place as a team overall with 13 state qualifiers. Two in the finals and five medalists. Not bad for a second year club.

Crusaders had a great year, but I wouldn't consider you a 2nd year club Almost all of your placers are experienced and put in extra time at Purler. Their hard work showed. Do you have a list of placers from each club in the south?

One of the qualifiers go to Purler full time, two more just got back into purler this past month, thats it, for this season. How are we not a second year club? Nope I have not researched all the placers from the south, but just watched the finals and counted them.

He probably just means its not like a new club that started with kids that had never wrestled before...its not an insult...just an observation...congrats on your success , and I wish you more in the future. You must be doing things right

So what team do you support? Oh, yeah! A team that couldn't score any points at the state tournament. I am sure you could get my number from Ryan so you can talk to me like a man. The point is you been spoutting off all season and hiding behind a computer. Many posters know who I am and I don't hide behind a persona so back the heck off the Cursaders Elite. Congrats to all the state placers.....................

I hesitated to respond to this thread because of all the drama gets started on the message boards. I think the south as a whole had a good showing. There were south wrestlers in the finals in both divisions, and from a lot of different teams. I seen place winners from Granite City, Bulls Edwardsville, Collinsville, Highland, King Select, and I think E St Louis.I'm sure I missed others. I think the Crusaders had a good year and even beat out one of our state placer hopefuls. I'm thankful to have the added competition. As for Soho, you know the whole story behind my club being on probation this year and how the entire thing was handeled. You know who all clearly benifitted from my clubs probation, the bylaws, the liberties that were taken with them, and how the whole "voting" took place. I have completely nothing to hide about the situation and do not appreciate cheap shots at me because of someone else.

I just stated a fact and I apologize that you can't handle the truth. I even told you that this wasn't a cheap shot at you or your club, but obviously you took it another way so be it. We agree to disagree...

I wasn't on the crusaders but I don't consider them a second year team. And who are you to question what team anyone supports? All you do is gather info and back stab everyone. That's why no one wants you around.

CHASE'S MOM...Is it true that Chase was held back a year for being too small? It's a rumor floating around and I was hoping you could clarify this.

Whatever, you don't know me and I don't really care to know who you are. Your are really not worth my time.
