Pero from illinois injured in NCAA?

Does anybody know the extent of Pero's injury? He forfeited first round wrestle back due to medical reasons (141 lbs).

Neither Pero, Troy Tirapelle nor Matt Weight are listed on the Illini's site for NCAA tourney results. I wonder what is up.

Illinois is having the worst outing of a Johnson / Heff team that I can remember. I don't believe that they have ever done any worse. Especially with the most entrants of any team. Friedl is the only one in the semis and I think that they only have 3 wrestlers left in the consols. Too bad. I was really pulling for them to trophy this year. Just tells you that on any given day. Illinois was a very close second at Big Tens but is in 17th currently at NCAA. Iowa on the other hand finished sixth at Big Tens and is currently in 2nd at NCAA. Wow!

I guess cassio proved all the ppl that said "he only AA'd because he injured everybody" right. I wonder how well he will do next year, or if he will even start.
