    112 wow!

Along with the 4 top seeds isn't Walz(WA) in there? And, if Brandtmuller(PC) makes 12 this week 112 might be the toughest weight class for any regional in the state.

Walz has got Cavallaris right away. No Brandtmueller (sp?) in the brackets but who knows he could show up Saturday morning!

looking at the WA regional seeding........i have a couple of questions....

at 189...why are there 11 kids when it is a 10 team regional

          at all the other weights.....

Why does the #5 seed have to wrestle the #12(and also the #6 vs #11) in the 1st round.....while the #8 & #7 seeds get a bye in the 1st round..........shouldnt it be 8/9 and 7/10 wrestling...while the higher seeded 5 and 6 get to rest in the 1st round?

lol...and why are there no 9 or 10 seeds in these brackets

There are 11 teams, I think
              Minooka
              Neuqua
              Plainfield Central
              West Aurora
              Plainfield South
              Dekalb
              Plainfield North
              Plainfield East
              Waubonsie Valley
              East Aurora
              Oswego East

The reason for the difference would be some teams not entering 14 wrestlers.

I thought they only seeded 1-4 and the rest went to a draw.

From there other than the 1-4 seeds the seed number on the brackets are for the purpose of showing where you will drop into the consolation bracket, always assuming that the higher seed wins.
Did that make sense? It made sense in my head, I hope this helps.
