Twist you are so easy, I'm just messin with you man. PC placed 2nd at 160. 3rd at 171' ,won it at 189 and 215 and took 3rd at Hwt. They hadn't sealed it till either 189 or 215 I think, but whatever it was all the little guys, cmon it was a top to bottom effort. Don't make me grrrrrrrr!!!!!

Congrats then. But the real test is at state. I still don't know why the PC people were so worried about Lockport. Better worry about OPRF. They seem for real. And they will be the favorite in a head up dual according to the rankings.

That's why I thought Providence would win this regional; people just don't take into account guys missing from the line-up, injuries, illnesses, guys not making weight, etc; I said it before and I will say it again...if you pay too much attention to a loss that Providence had vs Nequa Valley or the beat down they took with half a line-up vs Montini then you made a BIG mistake. Minooka better be on their "A" game vs Providence in that team sectional.

Don't drag me into your PC vs the world stuff. Go back and read my last article on this site and premiumpreps about PC. Do a search. It's there geo. I indicated that PC was a quality team. I have always been a Healy fan. First class coach. I have posted over and over that they would be there at the end of the year. Not once did I ever say Lockport would beat them. The only thing from PC I have ever questioned is some of their fans and their "extra" enthusiasm. Read your own post geo and you will get the idea. Settle down...it's just regionals...everyone that is suppose to win a regional did. Wait until after state to celebrate. Peace....

I heard the same thing all day. Towards the end of the day it just got worse. I think there are a group of classy fans.......Ok maybe about 4 fans. The rest are the most unclassy and ignorant fans.

i agree, when montini blew the doors off the ole green barn this season they got real quiet.plus when you wrestle there the refs should just wear green shirts instead of blk. and white.

It's simple: Montini is the only program that can beat PC with their full lineup. With Montini in AA, there was never a doubt in my mind that PC would win AAA this year. Is PC the best team in the state? No, but they ARE the 2nd best team in Illinois, and the best in AAA.

I'm not buying the whole Oak Park being a great team, as they have defeated NOBODY this season. And Minooka will put the pressure on PC, but will not win.

1. 2-2-2 simple means provi fans sit there and just scream twooooo all day long.

2. You say they are the classiest people in the state. The yelling and over the top screaming at other fans from other teams= classy. Come on man the pope himself would be embaressed for what was taking place yesterday.

3. You say it's sad and people need to grow up....Well what are these provi fans? Because that is far from being a adult. I think they drink a little to much holy water during the tourny and ride on their high horses.

You can say what you want Twist, but cross yourself and thank the lord that Lockport wasn't in MCs region or you wouldn't have been able to write your article about their(MC's) 8th straight regional win. PC was concerned because Lockport is one of the TOP teams in the state. I for one wish that the dual team format were different because I believe Lockport, Nequa, and Plainfield Central would add to the depth and excitement of the team championship. As I said before the validity of the rankings is questionable, but I'm glad someone takes the time and effort to do it.

There is nothing I would like to see more than a Providence vs OPRF final...two classy programs with two great coaches and a clash vs the old guard vs the new....it would be awesome...but we both have to get there first...LOL

Haters. Im far from hating on provi but decades ago you would not have seen fans in the crowd acting like a bunch of baboons screaming for bananas. I dont think decades ago you would have seen fans in the crowd stand up and yell at lockport fans either. But that is just my opinion. Im glad everybody has one.
