Wayne Weems(Moline) had a mean, mean neckwrench.

I am curious to see how the 103lbs seeding comes out because of the 4 sectional winners, none of them are previous SQs or undefeated. From what I see it looks like the kid from MC will be the 4th seed, Elmore the 3rd, and a coin flip between Schramm and Ornoff for #1 and #2. Klimara will be 3rd seed #3.

Yes, this was a serious question.

I thought I made that clear. Not everyone is as brilliant as you are, so please drop the stupid comments. And thanks for answering my question.

NO!!!!! Go to the IHSA wrestling site and check out the state tournament pairing schematic.

Elmore wrestled great in the finals, took Drendel down got a 48 sec. fall. He looks solid going to state, I think it's in his Destiny this year!

Manson had surgery in the offseason and needed first semester to recover. He has wrestled all of his matches since then...even wrestling 7 ranked wrestlers in his last 9 matches.

Leen has wrestled many ranked opponents this year including Burroughs, O'Connor, Chandler, Cyler Sanderson, and Bonilla-Bowman.

Lewnes is the only wrestler you might have a point against. However, he sat out the week before not wrestling Marable and the week after. Even if he did lose, he likely would have kept his #1 ranking since he has beat everyone ranked below him (including Howe, Morningstar, Reader, King, Rendos, and majoring Sponsellor) except Marable and Marable has multiple losses on the year.

Anceravage wrestled all his matches including Raymond Jordan two weeks ago and Alton Lucas last week.

So I am curious, which kids did Koll sit because they didnt match up well against?
im a huge koll fan. I know someone who was recruited by him and was not his biggest fan. Hes done more with a ivy leauge school than anyone could imagine. I like the guy a ton hes funny, I was useing the lewness example of marable

For the record no one actually thought he would throw the match, someone just said that maybe someone would throw a match to knock out a number one kid. Drendel is a tough kid and Im sure he would never do that and this whole post kind of went out of context. I think in the beginning people were just saying you never know he could... not that drendel was actually thinking of doing it. Drendel is a tough kid. Good luck at state Drendel

I cannot believe sombody in the Illinois wrestling community would ever even consider having a kid throw a match in order to intentionally eliminate a wrestler from the state tournament. When I firsst read that post where the consideration came up I felt sick to my stomach. This is the sport of wrestling, it teaches you to be discipline, hard working, dedicated, and ethical. It blows my mind for some to even think anything of that sort. I'm ashamed for you!

Who suggested that Drendal 'throw' his next match anyway? What a stupid thing to say. Was there any reason or indication that he was even thinking about doing this? Congrats to Drendal & let the tourney play out. If anything out of the ordinary happens, then debate it. Until then leave it alone.
