How did the first day go in Oak Park?

All I can tell you is that my son was there to ref and he just got home around 8:00. It was a long day...his legs were killing him (and he didn't wrestle). He's leaving the house at 7:30 a.m. to go back tomorrow. He said he believes it was a RECORD crowd.

Then why did it take so long? I could have misunderstood my son, but I thought he said record crowd? Maybe he meant "record slowness?" He was dashing out for the night so I guess I misunderstood him.

The crowd seemed smaller because they had the Juniors weigh-in and wrestler mid afternoon. Also, Northern Plains was this weekend, which certainly drew some kids away.

Where were all the big names?

There were some people missing at Greco State that we usually see.

Castellano, Chase, Kendall, Garringer (I saw him reffing), Coleman, Foreman, Dardanes just to name a few from last year's Greco tourney.

I hope they will come out and help the Greco Dual team this year.

Chase was there coaching on Saturday with Medlin. Castellano has already reported to Northern Michigan. Foreman wrestled in northen plains and took second. Coleman has a bad knee.
